The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for selecton of candidates for admission into B.Sc. Nursing Course in the Institutes of Assam affiliated to SSUHS for the session 2023 is going to be held on 04-06-2023. Online Application Forms shall be available on University official website from 27-04-2023 to 16-05-2023. The online application Form must be filled up after carefully going through the instructions given along with the Form. A non-refundable examination fee of Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two thousand) only is required to be paid through the Payment gateway available on online application page and University website [Application Fee for CEE B.Sc. Nursing Course, 2023 (Non Refundable)]. Above Examination fee is exempted to PwD (Divyang) category of candidates having disability of 40% and above.
Details of the Entrance Examination including eligibility criteria and requirements shall be available at the University website from 24-04-2023.
The Entrance Test is going to be held on 04-06-2023 at Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat,Barpeta, Tezpur and Diphu.
Admit Cards will be available online from 25-05-2023 which can be Downloaded after log in.
Candidates are strictly advised to keep record of the Application Number and Password used by them while submitting the online form, without which they will not be able to download Admit Cards.

1. The Entrance Examination shall be held on 04-06-2023 (From 10AM to 12 Noon)
2. There shall be 1 (one) paper consisting of 100 objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
3. Questions will be of HS (10+2) Science standard.
4. Distribution of marks will be: Physics-25 marks, Chemistry - 25 marks, Biology - 25 marks and English - 25 marks.
5. Merit shall be prepared based on the total marks obtained by each candidate in all the subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English. The marks obtained by each candidate in each subject shall also be shown in the said list.
If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the Common Entrance Examination, the inter-se merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:
a. Candidate securing more marks in Biology in Common Entrance Examination.
b. Candidates securing more marks in Chemistry in Common Entrance Examination.
c. Candidates securing more marks in Physics in Common Entrance Examination
d. Candidates securing more marks in English in Common Entrance Examination
e. If it further tallies then marks obtained in Biology, then Chemistry, then Physics, then English of qualifying examination shall be considered at the time of counselling.
6. The minimum qualifying criteria/cut off score in the Entrance Examination of B.SC.
Nursing Course will be as follows:
a. General (UR/EWS)-50th Percentile
b. SC/ST/OBC-40th Percentile
c.UR-PWD:-45th Percentile
7. If seats remain vacant, the minimum percentile will be reassessed by Director of Medical Education, Assam before second counselling.
8. 25% of seats in B.Sc. Nursing Course are to be kept reserved under Managem 374 Quota for Private Institution provided the candidate secures the minimum cut off score.
9. The Entrance Examination fee to be paid by the candidate will be Rs. 2000/- each Candidate
10. The Entrance Examination will be conducted in the following zones:
- Guwahati
- Dibrugarh
- Silchar
- Jorhat
- Barpeta
- Tezpur
- Diphu
The eligibility criteria for appearing in the entrance test and for admission into B.Sc. Nursing Course are as follows:
1. Applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or Equivalent Examination from recognized Board/Council/University with English as one of the subjects and securing at least 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category candidates, 45% for PWD Candidates and 40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST(P)/ST(H) category without grace marks.
However, the students who have appeared HS (10+2) Science Examination in 2023 and awaiting for their HS results are also eligible to appear the Entrance Examination. They will be considered as provisionally eligible at the time of application. However, they shall have to upload their HS (10+2) marks in the application portal as and when result is declared.
3. Candidate must be a minimum of 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the applicant to furnish all information correctly. Any information given by the applicant if found to be false or any ineligibility criteria detected at any stage later on shall make him/her liable to be disqualified from the Entrance Examination with all its associated consequences.
A candidate who desires to be considered under reserve category shall have to furnish original certificate of the concerned category from the Competent Authority at the time of Counselling.
A candidate applying under PwD (Divyang) Category will have to produce applicable Certificate from the State Level Medical Board/District Level Medical Board as constituted in persuance of Social Welfare.
As the form is to be submitted online, the candidates are not required to send any document to the Univrsity. All necessary verification/scrutiny of the related documents of the candidates regarding eligibility, reservation etc. will be done at the time of counselling by the concerned authority.
